This 285 is similar in her contemporary styling, roomy accommodations, and a very reasonable price for the value. Built on a solid fiberglass deep-V hull with a relatively wide beam, the mid cabin floor plan of the 2855 is arranged with a roomy V berth forward, with a privacy curtain and the owner’s stateroom aft with a solid privacy door with plenty of storage. The dinette will seat four comfortably, and three overhead deck hatches provide ventilation and additional lighting. A full galley, stand up head, and generous storage round out the interior. In the cockpit, Bayliner introduced a new unique L shaped lounge seat in the 285 that converts into a sun pad or an aft facing bench seat.
